People who post links to their own blogs

Self glorification

I am very suspicious of people who have to post links to their own blogs because nobody would ever discover them otherwise,
I know 'selfies' are rather popular but I find them somewhat distasteful. However, this could be to do with having a face that you are thankful only to see once or twice a day when you have the misfortune to encounter a mirror.
Anyhow, I was going to talk about self-glorification and link it with Christmas. That's not easy.
If ever anything was a long way from self glorification, Christmas is.
God  (in my view, the Almighty, glorious, God) shrunk himself down to an embryo and was born as a baby and laid in a cow's feeding trough so he wouldn't get trodden on by a cow.
Angels said "Glory to God in the highest," they went on to say, "Peace on earth and goodwill to men."
Jesus came down to the lowest to reveal God's glory to us because we couldn't reach the highest. His goodwill toward men was to bring us peace through reconciling us to God.
When John tells the story of Jesus in the Bible, he says we saw God's glory in Jesus because he was full of grace and truth. Jesus knew who he was and why he was here but he never thought about self glorification, he only thought of glorifying God and ultimately glorifying us.
I posted a link to my blog, I hope when you read it you'll realise that at Christmas, Jesus came to post a link to God. If you follow the link you can find the glory of God and discover that you can share it.
