Matchmakers
I had some Matchmaker mint sticks yesterday. They tasted fake. They had too much peppermint essence and not enough cocoa. I kept trying them but they never improved. I'm pleased to say Milk Tray seem to have dispensed with coffee creams so it is now possible to eat the whole box with impunity. I shall define impunity for you because even though it is such a splendid word, it is under-used - "Freedom from the injurious consequences of an action." I performed an action with injurious consequences last week. Perhaps one could call it an act of unimpunity. I was taking the recycling out to the recycling receptacles, but the ironing board had not been folded down and returned to its rightful place. As I opened the kitchen door, the thinner end of the board went through one of the glass panels of the door. It was an old door, made before safety glass was invented. Glass shards shot everywhere including into my foot. It took three days for them to work their way to the surface of my skin for removal and they hurt all the time I was waiting, I discovered that squeezing the skin on the outside of your foot with your two thumb nails, requires contortions I can no longer perform. This could be partly due to Milk tray having removed the coffee creams and my tenacious efforts to give Matchmakers the benefit of the doubt. I never begin a blog knowing what I am going to write, I just ramble until I have reached some kind of full circle - that could be due to Milk Tray having removed the coffee creams or my tenacious efforts to give Matchmakers the benefit of the doubt.
