I have very mixed feelings about these toilet roll dispensers.
In theory they should be more economical than a traditional roll, but having listened to service users in neighbouring cubicles, I rather think they aren't. My research shows an average tug of seven, which I personally feel is excessive. I would be interested in other people's views, if only discussing toilet rolls didn't seem so unsavoury.
As I counted the repeated dispensations whilst gathering information on this topic, a verse in Ephesians 3 came to mind. "You have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God." The writer proceeds to tell us that those dispensations are in accordance with the riches of God's glory and they include inner strength, and a deep foundation in, and understanding of, the incomprehensible love of Jesus.
However economical your use of a toilet roll dispenser, the roll will eventually run out, The love and grace of God is broad, long, deep and high. You can help yourself as many times as you like and if the person in the next cubicle is minded to start counting, they had better get ready to be there for an eternity.
