Badminton

Last week I went to Badminton. That was somewhat unfortunate as the place I was meant to be going to was Badminton School which is in Bristol. I must admit I was surprised that the name of the school didn't feature on the large iron gates at the bottom of the long drive. The gentleman at the top of the long drive informed me I was in the Badminton Estate. It was a pleasant detour and as the general public only get to see the beautiful private gardens of the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort once a year I felt quite privileged.
